SKM Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research was founded with an aim of imparting quality pharmacy education among the students residing in the state of Birbhum and other adjoining parts of West Bengal. Situated at Gitanjali Knowledge Park, Lohapur, Nalhati, the institution has modern facilities, competent faculty members, and industry-based learning opportunities.
The institution has been approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). The B.Pharm. and B.Pharm. (Lateral Entry) courses are affiliated to the West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS), whereas the D.Pharm. course is affiliated to the West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development (WBSCTVESD), Kolkata.
Mission of SKM Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research is to offer PCI-approved and industry-oriented education in pharmacy to the students of Birbhum and all of West Bengal.
